Yes, you most definitely can put a propeller on an inflatable kayak!
We recommend the ePropulsion Vaquita propeller.
It is a small, battery-powered propeller that has been designed for use with kayaks and SUPs.
There are 3 ways you can mount the propeller to an inflatable kayak:
- US Fin box – this method is compatible with our StraitEdge Angler Pro kayak
- SUP Fix Box
- Ratchet Straps – for all the rest of our kayaks that either don’t have a fin box, you can simply strap the propeller onto the kayak. Note that it can be a little tricky to get the propeller perfectly straight with this method, you may need to use your paddle to steer.
