The quest solo was a cheeky Christmas present to myself and I LOVE it! I have abit of a fear of deep water that has prevented me from enjoying going out for a kayak paddle. With the inflatable kayak I feel so safe! I can bounce and wobble and it doesnt tip. I honestly cant wait for the weekends so my husband and a I can get out in our inflatable kayaks. The added bonus being how easy they are to blow up and deflate. Get one, you won't regret it :)
This is a great review Paula!! Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Happy paddling!!! Lee @ Oz Inflatable Kayaks
hi guys I have not had time yet to use my pad leash ,but ,I reckon like all the other gear thatβs part of kayaking . a must have item . happy paddling aye ππ
Fantastic Mal!Thank you so much for taking the time to review. Happy paddling!!
Been three times on our rivers, and was very happy with it.Very stable, comfortable seat, easy to pump up manually. Found bag wasn't easy,so just fold in half, back of my Ute.So very happy with my purchase, wish I bought years ago.
Fantastic David! Thank you so much for taking the time to review π Happy paddling. Lee @ Oz Inflatable Kayaks
Handles very nicely, compact and easy to put together and undo. I am 6 ft 2 in. 90 kg, and there were no problems with space or paddling. Over an hours trip I do commonly with a racing surf ski, the Oru kayak was only 9 minutes slower!!! A joy to paddle.
Fantastic feedback and thank you for taking the time to review the Oru Bay ST Scott! Lee @ Oz Inflatable Kayaks
Product was perfect. My kayak is back to new. Thanks
Excellent Darryl! Timeto hit the water again!!!
Well designed and constructed. Fits kayak well and happy to recommend.
The ExoCrate was a game changer for me too Les. Glad that you are out with a line in the water too. Lee @ Oz Inflatable Kayaks
I've owned a few kayaks. This one is very stable and tracks well in the water. Unlike most tandem kayaks I've had ,this is hugely more portable and spacious.
Hi, I've only had a chance to test the pump in my garage so far. The pump seems to work fine but I found the adaptor was a loose fit for the Advanced elements connections (the bayonet and srew-in). Like a previous reviewer, I had to hold it to stop it disconnecting and letting the air out if I moved the hose while removing the connectors after pumping completed. I would then have to use my manual pump to top it up.
I have angler version ( owned for 3 yrs) and I also have a hobie outback15 yrs. The inflatable oz is a great option it is portable and has some significant advantages- but does not compare to a quality hard shelled kayak - they are on another level
Moved around way too much to be useful and then broke pretty quickly behind my small inflatable.Would be good for a kayak but donβt bother if your planning to move with any speed, itβs just not stable enough.
Hey there Flynn! Thank you for your review. Could you share some more information about your inflatable? This is the first time we have had a comment like this and we have been using them for sometime with the kayak motors. Keen to learn as much as I can about your situation. Lee @ Oz Inflatable Kayaks
Useless. Total waste of money !
Hey there Gary! Thank you for your feedback. This one is the first time we have had feedback like this for this glue. Would it be possible to share some info around the repair that you were working on? Lee @ Oz Inflatable Kayaks
The drop stitch floor is great - very stable on the water and cuts through the water beautifully
They are fantastic Terril! Game changers! Thank you for taking the time to pen your thoughts and happy paddling. Lee @ Oz Inflatable Kayaks
Excellent e-store quality of service with prompt follow up communication.
Thank you so much for taking the time to review Steven. Happy Paddling. Lee @ O Inflatable Kayaks
Iβve never had a carbon fibre paddle before. It is so lovely and light. I love that it packs down into my bag.
We bought the 12 volt electric pump for inflating our new Odyssey Tandem kayak. It is simple and very easy to use and a perfect companion to the inflatable kayaks. You can set the pressure and away you go. The long five meter cable also made much easier. I couldnβt imaging trying to use a hand pump. We would still be there. Also has a deflation option which made it easier when it was time to pack up.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We worked hard to develop this and we love this pump too. Happy paddling in your amazing Odyssey Tandem! Lee @ Oz Inflatable Kayaks
We have now paddled an 8 km paddle in Longreach of all places on the Thomson River.First Impressions of the Quest Tandem were that it moved through the water and tracked really well, even in some windy conditions. It is super stable and we can see that a lot of thought has gone into the design, including the carry bag. I am 183cm and found I had plenty of leg room with the adjustable and comfortable seats. In summary we were very impressed!
Thank you Stephen! We are very happy that you are out and enjoying the kayak!! Happy Paddling. Lee @ Oz Inflatable Kayaks
I have had a life time around boats in all sizes and shapes. (Including other inflatables). I am very happy to have finally cracked it. Found a kayak that meets all of my needs. Love how strong and durable and portable the Odyssey Tandem is. It is designed so well with so many great features. It is well made and easy to use but still feels super easy to use and very accessible. My wife enjoyed also feeling very comfortable and happy and safe. Lots of great design features that show great engineering and strength. Love that it folds up into the back of my car and donβt need to put it on the roof with roof racks. Gave it a great work out on a recent holiday to Myall Lakes. Very happy
Thank you so much for your taking the time to review Bruce! We are super happy that you are out on the water. Happy paddling!!! Lee @ Oz Inflatable Kayaks
Really good - does all the things claimed - heats the water, gives a nice steady flow, does not leak, feels sturdy and well made. Recommend!
Only used it once so far.Itβs a light and effective paddle and it seems to be strong enough for fending off rocks etc.Suits the sport elite kayak which I already like a lot.Cheers , Bruce.
Really impressed with the difference it makes being in an inflatable.. So light to paddle and much easier to get into and out of for me, I have the Quest solo and can manage the loading solo.. best decision I've made.
I was nervous to try my first paddle alone in my new kayak. The set up was pretty easy, after reading the instructions π The 4 part paddle works well but I'm still experimenting with the offset option and find rubberised garden gloves provide a more secure grip. Happy days!
