On Sunday, we joined a large group of people celebrating World Rivers Day by kayaking down the mighty Albert River. Okay, mighty is a stretch, I know …. but it was very beautiful.
I was in the super lightweight Packlite inflatable kayak:

Carly was in the luxurious StraitEdge Angler inflatable fishing kayak
No fishing though – there were way too many paddlers in the water to throw a hook!
The tide was quite low, so we had to get out and walk a few times …
But we both made it through and enjoyed cruising along with the rolling grassy hills and trees either side.
We finished off the day with a Sausage Sizzle. How good is sausage in bread???!!!
