Did a one way kayak (with the tide of course) from a friend’s place on Monaco street, through to Cascade Gardens.
Had a bit of slip and slide trying to carry my Advanced Frame Inflatable Kayak down my friends very steep and very green boat ramp, but I was very soon on my way.
Randomly, there is a mast in someone’s yard on the Nerang River …
I decided on a whim to go up a quiet looking canal, and the water was so glassy the kayaking was a breeze.
After snooping around the canals some more, I paddled back to the Nerang River and made my way to Cascade Gardens. The water around the gardens was crystal clear and with it being low tide, I could see the sandy ripples at the bottom, the fallen palm fronds, the fish, it was beautiful.
I took this picture because it really shows how the bow and stern are low compared to the body, and that’s why the Advanced Frame tracks so well in the water. I love my Advanced Frame …
