Back On The Water… In The Convertible Elite

“Having previously canoed in a fibreglass ‘Canadian’ style canoe that just got too heavy to lug around when travelling, it was a pleasure to be able to get back on the water in our new AdvancedFrame Convertible Elite Inflatable Kayak.

No more heavy lifting! We had no problems with getting on the water… probably took us about 20-25 mins from getting the carry bag out of the wagon to being on the water (depending on whether we got talking with interested people who were curious about the kayak).

The kayak itself is extremely stable, and seems to track very well, even in the quite windy and choppy conditions we encountered on Lake Cargelligo on our recent trip in central NSW.

Drying the kayak after a morning paddle was the only real concern we had, but wiping down with a towel helped in this regard.

All in all a tremendous kayak that suits our needs well.
